From what I\'ve heard and looked at through articles etc, Marc Staal, Braydon Coburn and Brian Lee aren\'t really offensive defensemen. All of them will have great futures in the NHL but I think they\'ll all be approx 30 point players or so.
in my 5 year keeper i\'m in i have 4 prospect d-man i\'m curious about
noah welch
brian lee
marc staal
and braydon coburn
so far all i know is that coburn should get good time in philly but i have no clue if he\'ll ever be a point-getting d-man or just be a skating hulk
and i thought welch would pan out in pittsburgh but i\'m hoping that now he\'s in florida that he might crack the squad and stick around
as for marc staal...is he all hype just because he\'s a staal brother or will he have something to bring to the table in new york?
and last but not least brian lee, i chose him thinkin that he\'ll find a spot with chara gone and depending with what happens to thier roster next year...(if they re-sign philips or not..?) but i hear good thing about lee though

the rangers are doing the right thing by not rushing staal. he could be anchor on the blueline for years.
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
I\'m thinkin Welch is the guy.

I completly agree with that quote! It\'s resuming my thought on that question. Except if your pool is that deep....and if it\'s then WELCH could be the one to check!
remember the sutter brothers from viking alberta!stall has to be the best gamble in my opinion.

I think they\'ll all be 40-point defensemen, except Coburn could go as high as 55 or even 60. He\'s your best bet. Lee might get 45.
