Can Joe catch Sid??
Does anyone think that Joe will catch Sid in the scoring race?
I think they are going to give Joe 25 plus mins a game to give him a shot at catching him....it\'ll be interesting.

I am pretty confident that the Sharks careless about joe catching sidney in the points race. They want to get everyone rolling and win as many games as possible. They aren\'t going to get joe hurt just so he can maybe win the Art Ross trophy. Thats the way I see it. Give him more thing to wager about when his contract ends after next year.

I\'m expecting Sid to pull away again shortly. By his standards, he\'s been rather cool lately. Not sure if it\'s the pressure or the other teams really keying on him.

I had a whole formula worked out but the simple truth is Joe has 104 in 176 games thus far. Cros? 108 in 172. Is it doable? yes, but if i were a gambling man (which i am), the probability favors the kid (as it usually does). Not chopping big joe of course (in fact I\'m kind of rooting for him as I have little joe and Toskala), but if money were involved Crosby 1.5:1.

Joe\'s played through multiple injuries during over the last two seasons that have \"hampered\" his production. I think that when he\'s rolling he\'s still a better option than Crosby... Maybe this won\'t be the case next year, but last I checked, the supporting cast in San Jose is just as good (if not better) than the supporting cast in Pittsburgh (the Sharks are certainly more experienced). I wouldn\'t put it past Thornton to pass crosby by the end of the year.

i think it\'ll be very close joe\'s on fire right now on a team thats clicking, sid\'s been kinda luke warm for the last couple of weeks...

i wouldnt speak so soon dobber.....Sid is a phenomenal player, but Joe has more experience and is healthy now. I think it will come down to the last game or two of the season.
