Default (another) Rank these 6 prospects

G, A, +/-, SOG, hits, PPP, SHP, PIM

Not really too concerned about development time, just rank the best players:

    Matt Halischuk
    Carter Ashton
    Kevin Veilleux
    Carl Klingberg
    Richard Panik
    Zach Kassian

Tough list to rank...probably why no one has responded (constructively anyways). I'll take a crack:

    Halischuk
    Kilngberg
    Ashton
    Panik
    Veilleux
    Kassian

In terms of upside, I'd rank them like this

    1. Klingberg - big, physical guy with wicked shot, wasn't even allowed to be physical with the other guys at development camp.
2a. Kassian - Similar to Klingberg, only rougher and slower and should be a good fit among smallish Buffalo forwards in a couple of years.
2b. Ashton - no-brainer top six forward, looked awesome in development camp, can play any forward position, could challenge for a spot as soon as this year, although he probably goes back to the WHL for another season.
    3. Panik - Possible top sixer, but should get there with enough time.
    4. Halischuk - third line grinder with some offensive spunk according to my friend who's a Devils fan. best thing about him in this list is that he's the closest to an NHL spot.
    5. Veilleux - Second line at best, needs a lot of work to reach that place.
    GO WINGS!

I have seen Veilleux play up here in the Q , he is a big body with excellent hands and he plays with a chip on his shoulder too. On numerous occaisions he played on the point on PP controlling the play , he also has a heavy shot which i think he doesnt use enough . He had an excellent 2nd Half and really played up too his expectations , and from what i have heard he had a good rookie camp in Pitts.
