Question Most points between these centremen

I'm in a keeper league where myself and 9 of my friends pick 1 player in each one of the positions except goalie. So a LD, LW, C, RW, RD.

I'm likely going to take centre last since it's such a strong position, and I'm picking 6th overall so I can't get Malkin or Crosby who are the big time standouts in the position. So I need to know who you think will get the most points between the guys below.

    Johnathon Toews
    Erik Staal
    Henrik Zetterberg
    Marc Savard
    Henrik Sedin
    Mike Richards
    Jeff Carter
    Anze Kopitar

I should also mention that our hockey pool entry is $200, the winner gets $1,000 and a $600 trophy that looks like the Stanley Cup. I have won 2 of the last 3 years including the past year with Ovechkin, Savard, Perry, Green, and Corvo, so I want to defend the big prize just like the Penguins want to do as well.

I need help with this very important late pick in my draft. So cast your vote on who you like on this blue chip list, or ranking them from 1st to 8th would also be helpful. Bonus points for actual point projections as well.

My homerun would be Staal. 100 points last time Maurice coached him for a full season.

I like hearing the love for the much under rated Marc Savard. I've had him the last 2 years in my hockey pool, and it may be a 3rd in a row this year. I also think that Staal could be good as well since he gets Cole and Maurice back for a full 82 games.

In a deep keeper, I would take Eric Staal but it is very close with a handful of these guys.

That said, here are my predictions for 10-11:

    1. Henrik Zetterberg – 36g / 51a / 87pts

    2. Marc Savard – 23g / 64a / 87pts

    3. Eric Staal – 36g / 48a / 84pts

    4. Jeff Carter – 38g / 44a / 82pts

    5. Mike Richards – 31g / 51a / 82pts

    6. Henrik Sedin – 21g / 59a / 80pts

    7. Johnathan Toews – 35g / 43a / 78pts

    8. Anze Kopitar – 29g / 45a / 74pts

Like I said, all of these guys are solid picks.

Staal is my fav for a keeper, but Carter, Zetterberg, Kopitar and Savard are right there.

I have a feeling Richards and Toews will get banged up more than the others because of how they play the game.

Another note, Savard is in a big contract year, so look for him to produce well.

    Good luck.
