    Default '09 Draft Gs

Who are the top 5/10 Gs drafted in '09 that will do anything in the NHL (not just career AHLers or career backups)? thanks

man... there's not much out there buddy...

this year had a pretty darn weak goalie class.

Robin Lehner's not bad if you have to take a goalie now, but outside of him I probably wouldn't bother with it this year if you can afford to wait.

Like Lanky said, Lehner should definitely be there someday.

Justin did a pretty good analysis of Mikko Koskinen. He's pretty impresive and I'm sure he'll end up playing in the NHL (especially since he's been drafted by NYI).

I also like Roy's situation in EDM.

My favorite dark horse is Nicolas Riopel. He just won the goalie of the year in the Q and been drafted by PHI. If he continue to develop well, we could see him in 3-4 years.

    Hope this help!

How about goaltenders that may have been drafted in the last 2-3 years that might have a shot at making an NHL impact soon? For example, Jon Quick surprised the hell out of me this year and I don't think I was alone there...who else might not be taken that's worth looking at?
