Is he signed by the Pens yet? Do you figure this guy is going to stick this year? 82 poits in 70 AHL games, it seems like if he was given an extended chance of playing in the top six he could succeed. What are his chances this year?
Pesonen had a slow start in the AHL but he was really good in his first season in north america. He hasnīt signed with the pens yet and i doubt he will. As much as i would love to see him on malkins wing, i think the pens wonīt change their play-off lines.
Kunitz - Crosby - Guerin
Talbot - Malkin - Fedotenko
Now with Talbot out for at least the first month of the season, thereīs a free spot in the top 6, but i think the pens will give it to Caputi or Tangradi (my money is on Caputi) to see how they do.
Pesonen will get a chance to sign with another NHL team and he could become a good top 6 forward. For draft day, he seems to be a possible late round steal, but you should wait until he definetly signed a contract.
