How is my drafting going thus far?

Hey guys I have joined a new 12 team ESPN H2H keeper league.

Here are the positions Number of Players per Pro Team: Twenty Five [25]: Three (3) centers, Three (3) left wingers, Three (3) right wingers, Four (4) forwards, Four(4) defense, two (2) goalies, Six (6) benched players. PLUS Three (3) open spots to facilitate 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 (etc..) trades. Giving us a total of 28 slots per PRO team. All position eligibility is based on pool system league is using (ESPN).

Scoring: Hybrid scoring is points-based but in a Head-to-Head format. Points are accumulated in the following categories:

For skaters: G (5 points), A (5), PIM (0.3), Shots (0.2), Hit (0.2), Block shot (0.2) +/- (1)
For goalies: W (7 points), SO (7), Saves (0.2), GA (-1)


So here was how I drafted in the prospect draft (under 82 games played) in brackets is the position when they were drafted.

NOTE: I am going to call up Mason, Goligoski and Bogosian to my pro team.

I think it looks pretty dang good Rainmaker. I don\'t like the AK pick too much. I\'d also focus on another goalie still in the main draft....maybe a Mike Smith or Bryz if they\'re still available. You killed the prospect draft.

Nice set of two solid stud young defenders.

thanks Yancy! I was kinda dissapointed after I picked the two dmen, because Duchene and Hodgson were grabbed shortly after both of which I really like.

The AK and sharp picks just killed me here were some of the players that were picked shortly after all of whom I like more; horton, briere, b richards, pavelski, J staal and gagner.

oh well whats a draft without mistakes right?! Thanks for your input just gave you +1

Kind of hard to determine how you are drafting unless you see all the results but your team is looking alright. Brodeur was a steal and I really like that Tedenby pick, at 96 that is a steal.

Although I like Goligoski and Bogo I would have rather had Duchene and Hodgson because you start 3x more forwards than D and the C position doesn\'t matter because you can start 7C.

AK was a little bit of a reach considering the guys you mentioned but hey why not? he has a PPG potential. I like him better than Pavelski, Staal and Gagner but I like Horton, Briere and Richards a lot more.

But 20/20 hindsight is better. Everyone makes picks they regret in drafts. Your team looks promising!.. Keep up the good work man.

Although I still do like Hodgson and Duchene better I see that Bogo and Goligoski are your only 2 D so I guess those picks makes more sense now. Goligoski has been highly touted around here for a while and I tend to agree with the hype, Crosby and Malkin have there best seasons ahead of them yet.. if Goli can get #1 PP time he will be amazing.

drafting bogosian and goligoski over duchene and hodgson is a huge mistake in 90% of leagues out there.
