    Default Question about RFA\'s/UFA\'s

Hello all, needed a little bit of help determining what these guys will fetch this offseason. I\'m not looking for exact numbers, but something in the ballpark would be appreciated.

In my keeper league our cap is 81.3 mil based on player\'s yearly salaries, instead of their overall cap hit.

I\'m at 61.3 mil right now and have these players getting new contracts in the offseason.

    Havlat (UFA)
    MA Bergeron (UFA)
    Conklin (UFA)
    Dubinsky (RFA)
    Babchuk (RFA)

I need 2 more players to fill out my roster, as I\'d rather have Ebbett down in the minors rather than up in the big leagues and Tavares (I have the 1st overall pick) will be the other guy on my bench. So basically the question I\'m asking is, around how much will I be able to spend on that last player. I\'ll give karma to helpful answers. Thanks again.

I\'m hoping that the Krejci signing will be the first of a couple cheaper RFA deals.

    Default Question about RFA\'s/UFA\'s

Do your minor players cost you money? Like will Tavares hit you for his 3.725 (that\'s what Stamkos hits T.B. for) and Ebbett at .300?

Havlat will get less than his previous contract of 6mill a year. Even though he had a greeeaaat year for himself, I can\'t see him getting over 5.5 next year, and if he wants a multi year deal, like 3-5 years, my guess is an average around 4.5mill-5mill, with it being somewhat front loaded.

M.A. berg will get around 2 on the open market, maybe more from a desperate team, but that would be overpaying, 1.75 average is my guess, he\'s injury prone and inconsistent.

Conklin- 1 Mill is my guess, he\'ll be a back somewhere, prolly sign a 2 year deal, he\'s a career back up with not much value, Howard will get the role in Detroit me thinks, so he\'ll sign where he wants for .75-1mill or somewhere else for 1-1.5 mill

Dubinsky- Rangers will sign him over Blair Betts in my opinion. and this guy\'s http://www.rangerstribune.com/2009/0...son-ahead.html
As to how much is tricky. But enough to get him to stay for numerous year, so my guess is 2-3mill, cuz the rangers have the money and he\'s 99% worth it to them. But FOR SURE not over 3. maybe averaging out to like 2.25 or something, maybe lower.

Babchuk- Still young and talented, played really well in Carolina\'s late season run, they want him back is my guess. He will be gettin a raise from the 1 mill. How much of one, again kind of tricky. Can\'t see someone wanting him for over 3, but he did have 35 pts last year, but only 1 in the playoffs (13 games). My estimate is 2.5 average on carolina for 1-3 years, if he holds out to get an offer sheet to go somewhere else not sure how much it would be for, but Carolina will send him one before July 1st is my guess, or someone else will come calling for more money... maybe.

    Default Question about RFA\'s/UFA\'s

The cap hit for Stamkos includes potential bonuses. He didn\'t earn a salary of $3.725 million this past season. Potaguitar\'s league counts actual salaries instead of cap hits, so those potential bonuses seem to be a bit blurry.

Ohhh... true dat, meaning rookies are absolute stealllls. You`ll only be paying .875 for Tavares, RIDICULOUS.
