MPS: poor man\'s peter forsberg?

tangradi/caputi: will be on crosby\'s line eventually. worse can scenario is malkins-or is that the best case scenario?

kadri/schroeder: all depends which team drafts them


those guys should be your top 5, i like eberle but theres too many young forwards on edmonton already, bailey is an islander enough said, benn is a really solid choice i would have him in my top 5 too. i dont think schenn will be as great as most people say but who knows i havent seen him play often. connolly and sullivan = injury prone, peverley = possible one hit wonder.

your top selection should be mps, if you cant get him then go for

caputi
tangradi

probably in that order too. just my opinion!

In order:

MSP: I think he will be a star someday (but will take some time).

Schroeder: I also think he is going to be a star; great all-around game and surprisingly strong (after his combine results). The only knock I had on him before the combine was his size...no longer a huge concern for me.


Caputi: decent skills and will play with Malkin or Crosby, so he is #3 on my list.

Schenn: terrific all-around player...Iginla-light, or maybe closer to Mike Richards. Either way, you can\'t complain.

Kadri: lots of skill, a bit under-rated, but will make a solid #2 centre and PP player in the bigs.

I like to rank on upside mostly, so here is my list:

1. MSP- He easily has the highest upside out of all the guys you listed
2. Caputi- A winger playing with Crosby or Malkin; sign me up
3. Schroeder- a few years away but I like his upside
4. Benn- This guy is going to be a heck of a goal scorer
5. Eberle- Another good goal scorer

EDIT: Now that I see Points-Only I got to put Schroeder ahead of Benn and Eberle because they are more pure goal scorers compared to Schroeder who should rack up a bunch more assists.

Agree with the above, also don\'t mind taking a flyer on Connolly, when he plays he generates points, but bandaid boy. may also slip down the list because of this so can be picked up later in the draft. Could be a good gamble especially if you can afford to have him sit on reserve, so when he plays it is a bonus.

MSP- speed to burn and highest potential.
Schreoder- fast strong and sees the ice well. I think he could be the steal of the draft.
Bailey- already playing with Okposo and possibly Tavares next year.
Tangradi- can you say Kevin Stevens?
Caputi- will be playing with Crosby or Malkin.

I have him around 6th or 7th. Only so many points to go around and I like Caputi more than Tangradi. The 1st PP will be Crosby-Malkin-Gonchar-Goligoski/Letang-[probably Caputi/Tangradi] in the future. Once Gonchar leaves in will be Letang-Goligoski on the point. So there is really only room for one of them on the #1 PP and I like Caputi better. Now Tangradi will still get a bunch of points from playing with the superstars but I just don\'t see his numbers being inflated as much as Caputi\'s will be.
