    Default Finished team, your thoughts...

So I finally think I\'m done with my team, It looks very solid all around except in +/- and maybe PIM in my opinion.

I\'m currently in a Roto league with 16 players per team, and 10 managers with the following stat catergories: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, W, GAA, SV%, SHO.

    Team:

    C Olli Jokinen
    C Anze Kopitar

    LW Evgeni Malkin
    LW Simon Gagne

    RW Marian Hossa
    RW Alexander Radulov

    D Nicklas Lidstrom
    D Philippe Boucher
    D Kimmo Timonen
    D Tom Poti

    BN-LW Rick Nash
    BN-RW Milan Hejduk
    BN-C Patrice Pergeron

    G Miikka Kiprusoff
    G Marc-Andre Fleury
    BN-G Chris Mason

Like I said, looks solid except for +/- and maybe PIM. The only other thing that I am somewhat contemplating is dropping/trading Hejduk/Nash for backup Defenseman with a solid +/- or PIM.

What are your thoughts as a whole?

Any and all information is greatly appreciated. If you feel I may have overlooked something, please let me know.

    Thanks

You need Hejduk to back up Radulov... or vice versa, Hejduk will be on the top line in Colorado which should be very powerful this year. Radulov has been bumped down to the third... Bench Radulov for now and perhaps look to deal him if this is a 1 year league. Which D are available on the wire?

I couldn\'t agree more with Sharpie. Excellent job in drafting, how many teams are in this league. Good job drafting in the LW department given there is a huge drop off. I also have Radulov and Hejduk on my team, but, given that Hejduk will be on the top line, look for his numbers to improve from last year. I\'m sure he\'ll also have an easier time on the power play with Ryan Smyth there to clear room in front of the net.

Thanks for the complement, you guys need to pat your self’s on the back as well though because you helped a lot in making my decisions.

As for your question, there are a total of 10 people in my league.

    Thanks

I would be asking myself how badly I need Mason and looking to see if someone in the league needed a good starting goaltender. I might be sending a centre (Kopitar or Bergeron) and Mason for someone like Savard (PIM\'s) and a lesser goaltender - maybe a Harding who will give you some high quality starts.

I think in your league that dual eligibility players would be a really big asset - so start looking at J. Staal, Sykora, Prospal to create some flexibility in getting your games in - that tends to open up your trade channels because you can dispense with your 3rd string guys (in your case good ones) to get something else you need - like upgrades on D.

    Just a few thoughts.

    Nice team!

    I\'m thinking about proposing:

    Mason/Bergeron for Fernandez/Savard? What are you thought\'s?

Sykora, and Prospal are on the wire by the way.

Any other thought\'s for my team anyone?

I think after Mason\'s shutout today that you might just pull that deal off - I like it if you can get it.

You have a really strong team so I would put the close eye on Prospal and Sykora but not sure I would drop anyone at the moment - tempting though it may be. I could see Sykora gone after his first game with the Pens. Prospal started strong today.

I\'d drop Poti for Pitkanen in a second if he\'s still available. Other than that, your team looks very good top to bottom.

Actually I no longer have Bergeron. For some reason I decided to drop him for Langkow last night. I\'m hoping that Langkow will put up close to the same amount of points as Bergeron this year. I also like the fact that he\'ll have a better +/- than Bergeron.

So as of right now I think I\'m going to lay low with the players I have and just keep an eye out.

    Thanks
