PR - Where\'s J.McBain?

First to BC Bandits, Machacek is not a D.

Anyway, I don\'t want to answer for Dobber, but my suspicion is that just like his prospect ratings, D are not important in his league and ranked lower, for that reason forwards tend to take priority in the PR. Just my guess.

I too was wondering about the omission of those guys, especially McBain & Weber.
Weber was a very late cut of Montreal last fall and also had a callup during the season. Since I own him I am anxious to hear Dobber\'s take on him.

letnry: Who cares regarding the frwds to d-men and them worth more? These are (3) pretty good D that should be mentioned. All keeper drafts require you to get forwards and D, so all top D-men should be mentioned. I\'d rather have a McBain read who is within 2 yrs away and great upside than a 3rd line Cane that will never factor in my fantasy draft. The players mentioned just need to be added as everyone agrees. I\'m sure Dobber will produce the write up, Upside, and Certainty.
I am currently at StL, so I will post any more that seem to be missing.

To explain some of the behind the scenes stuff for the Prospect Report - I pick four players to write about and I assign Matt Bugg two. So the top six players are definitely covered. Or rather - the six most fantasy worthy players on every team are covered. Then Matt does 2-5 more prospects of his own choosing. Why he didn\'t do McBain or Weber, I don\'t know. I guess he wants to draw your attention to some others.

Each team owns about 30 \"prospects\", so that\'s 900. We profile about 275, so some will be missing that are important to somebody, I\'m sure. But we do our best!

Junland is going to be a good defenseman. With Pietrangelo and Johnson likely running the top PP in the Blues\' future, Junland should run the 2nd PP and (once he has about 2-3 years in the league) put up 35 each year, mostly assists. He\'s too smart not to put up points.

Upside: 12G-38A-50Pts
Realistic upside(what you can expect one he hits his stride): 8G-30A-38Pts

Not too many PIMs from him. Either.

I wish I knew enough about the other two to give a fair cut on them, but I don\'t, so I\'ll leave it to others. :P

I wouldn\'t touch Jonlund with a 9 ft pole. Too much talent with Peterangelo and EJ in front. I realize Peter is still a yr away, but stil...JJ is a 2nd PP QB on that team (ie: 30 seconds)
