I\'d probably just wait until I got to spend the day with it.
*Come on guys! Enough with the karma shit already. You\'ve made you points already. Ive done more to earn those things that 80% of the people on here and im down alot from 211.
At that point I think you\'d kiss the thing if the entire teams wiped their balls on the Cup before you got it.

I\'m sure even a lot of Pens fans thought it was over at 2-0 (I sure did, I\'ll be honest).
The rivalry will continue next year. Best out of 3.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.

hahaha no way dude. see below for a quote of my post in dobber\'s \"Come out, come out...\" thread:lanky wrote:
I wish I could find some of the stuff you said, but I have a feeling it was a bit more direct then \"an uphill battle\"well... as i said after detroit was up 2-0 in this series... it was an uphill battle, an unlikely scenario... but if pittsburgh were to come back and win 4 out of 5 and win the cup... they\'d have earned it.
Well they earned it.
They came back against the capitals and the wings and finished with 4 wins in 5 games when odds were against them. Good for them. Now hopefully they suck forever now, because i don\'t want to see them back there next year.
Either way I\'m glad it\'s over, time to catch up on all the work I slacked off on the past couple months - yikes!

man i remember saying that the odds were against pittsburgh and that they had an uphill climb... which is pretty much what the comish said... i don\'t really remember anyone of importance (lol) guaranteeing that detroit would without a doubt take the series after winning two games.
The fact remains... that for pittsburgh to win in six (dobber\'s revised/current prediction) requires 4 straight wins. That\'s pretty tough if you ask me. I mean washington at least took the penguins to the seventh game (after coming out with a 2 game lead)... I imagine that this series is at least going to 7 games... and i still think that winning 4 of 5 (after losing the first two) is a rather daunting task for any team.
If pitt can pull it off again (after doing the same against washington), they definitely deserve the cup this year.
... just as long as there aren\'t anymore boneheaded missed calls...
Well there ya go, I stand corrected!

No it wasn\'t. Crosby has now played 49 playoff games. If this would have been his 87th playoff game it would mean that the Pens have been in the finals every season of Crosby\'s career.wow did you know that this is Crosby\'s 87th playoff game... interesting...

I think he got his junk crushed...bad.any guestimates on crosby\'s injury? I\'m thinking it\'s a knee...
chipped bone in the kneecap or something? it didn\'t look like a possible tendon or something in the knee... so other than a busted kneecap, i\'m kind of confused what could have caused such pain.
