He has an injured ankle and is questionable for the season opener. Has anyone heard any additional details about his injury? I\'m planning on sitting him the first week for Clowe or M. Koivu.

I read in a blog on the Washington Post Semin won\'t be playing this weekend.

After one false start to his season, it appears that the Caps are going to be patient with Semin and make sure the ankle heals. A wise move as they can be testy if not allowed to heal properly.
P.S. I also read it in Dobber\'s ramblings on Wednesday, the same day the Post posted it on the blog.

Tell me about it.. I traded for him this off season at the draft... Gave up the 7th overall pick up for him... Perron, Russell, Vlasic, voracek, pavelski, espo, and cherry went in that order... so you get an idea of who i Passed on.. still should be a good trade for me.. but man i want him to produce for once this season!!!!
