I knew this wasn\'t going to be a cake walk for the Caps. They can still definitely win this series though. Varlamov gave them a chance to win since he didn\'t give up any bad goals. That\'s encouraging for Washington but they need to figure out their PP.

Ovechkin and Green didn\'t do much all game, they need to step up if they have any chance of getting back in the series. So I guess Varlamov has earned game 3 at MSG?

Yeah, I definitely think he\'ll be playing in Game 3.

Tortorella. Lundqvist. Underestimated their contributions. Just didn\'t think the Rangers could help out Lundqvist enough, but it looks like Torts has the Rangers playing motivated.

Naslund looked like a different player out there. Avery was involved, but not the story. Callahan is very effective in his limited minutes. And Redden is almost playing up to half his contract\'s worth:lol:

I normally enjoy watching that Capitals team play, Mike Green is one of my favourite NHLers, but they looked stiffled today.

Callahan is a beast. Plays in all situations and can do anything for Tortorella.

I agree with everything you said, except the part about Callahan having limited minutes. He played over twenty minutes today, and is consistently up there in Rangers\' ice-time, especially under Torts.

Very enjoyable game...then again I am a Rangers\' Fan. B)

You\'ve got a highly skilled young team versus a somewhat older, less talented team with more veterans and a fantastic goaltender. The younger team is picked as the favourite, and the underdogs steal two games on the road thanks to fantastic goaltending...

I honestly forgot he was on the team until sometime early in the third, albeit I was studying too but jeez I didn\'t notice him at all. I guess this is his first ever taste of the playoffs though, not that that is much of an excuse.
