Rinne is the better (well at this point more polished) of the two - unless Mason can break his recent slump, I think Rinne will be the Calder favorite at the end of the year.

In all honesty I don\'t even think this is a contest...
preds at home have a wicked record, and vs. columbus as well.
mason has been high flying, but I think it\'s gonna be 12 o clock for him soon, as he will return from his fairytale. At least for a while, when he snaps back to reality

Im thinking about picking up Ward. Got him in my one free dynasty league... but Im looking for that one guy to help me with my playoff push in my $$ dynasty league... Mason is an exceptional goalie already, but he is not used to the grueling scedule of a full NHL season. I looked it up recently, and Mason has played almost every single game since the end of November (except for a few games the week he was recovering from mono). Sheesh!
Rinne, on the other hand, has been eased in a lot more easily. He\'s been developed over a period of a few years, and even this year he\'s gradually received more responsibility as the year has progressed.
I just hope Columbus doesn\'t arrive in the playoffs to find their young goaltender completely burned out.

I live in Calgary so I can\'t catch too many preds games on tv.what can you tell me about Ward Dutch? Do you watch the games over there?
What I know of ward is that he is a very hard working player much like fiddler. But point wise he will never be of much significance in fantasy leagues I think. I probably would never own him in my leagues as there must be better options available.
I think he is like a 40 pt guy or so.
I like his playstyle, but I don\'t think he is a point getter. More of a checker.
Other than that, I don\'t know too much about him to tell you the truth.
