I think it\'s gonna be Conks. The leash has gotten a little shorter on Osgood ****-ups, only if slightly shorter. If Conks doesnt play after this game, i\'d be very surprised. They gave Osgood what should have been a gimme game and he lost bad.

I guess he\'s always trying to re-create the Hasek/Osgood tandem of a few years ago and refuses to stop trying.Not only that, he also wants to keep a goalie fresh for the playoffs. At first it was Ozzie he wanted to keep fresh for the playoffs, so he played Conks a little more than the average backup. Now that Osgood seems to have fallen apart, except for maybe 5 starts all year, I think Conks is the starter he\'s eyeing for the playoffs and OZZIE is the backup who is helping to keep CONKLIN fresh for the playoffs.
Just a guess based on what I see.

I just watched the highlights from that game...my goodness it looked like NHL \'94 on Sega Genesis! Shots went in from everywhere...if Babcock starts Osgood next game I\'m personally posting him a steaming pile of cow dung.
