they both suck. if i had to choose leclaire just because he has a greater likelihood of starting more games with norrena as the other goalie then labarbra does with cloutier as the other goalie.

anyone whos a backup to cloutier sucks.

cloutier is a journeyman who isnt young enough to show a great deal of potential worth holding onto. 2003-4 with the rangers he had a .824 save percentage and almost 5 GAA in 4 games. last year he had a bump up hovering around the .900 mark. in real life, hes an acceptable backup. in the world of fantasy hockey, he sucks.

hey boys Labarbara is no back-up to cloutier, cloutier will be backing up Labarbara until he gets hurt in the early morning skate and misses the rest of the season.. But Labarbara is just the gum plugging the leak in the dam until Bernier comes in to stop the leaks for good..

Leclaire is nothing more then a good goalie who gets hurt way to much, Norrena should split the season with him \"if\" he (Leclaire) manages to stay healthy ..

I would try and take somebody other then these two though, personal thoughts anyway.

since when was clout on waivers? send the link.

    AHL numbers dont mean shit.

only reason i can see him going to waivers is b/c Bernier is ready for his debut. nothing else makes sense.

I agree with Primeau. Bernier should move up and Labarbra\'s numbers in the AHL have little or no relativity to the matter. I would also go with Leclaire.

The former Canucks netminder was expected to challenge for the number one goaltender spot this season with the Kings but has been outplayed in the pre-season by junior eligible netminder Johnathan Bernier who shone for Canada at the Summit Series.

Prims and me were right. Bernier\'s the man.

yea bro, its berniers job to lose now, labarbra may split the games although i doubt it. even then, why would you want him? it\'s obvious he\'ll be splitting time with Bernier and wont play 50-60 games, why bother? same goes for leclaire, splitting time with norrena, wont play 50-60 games....lowers their fantasy value by a LOT. so id avoid both, neither are definite starters and will split time, neither are that great, and neither are going to make an impact other than on your bench.

find someone else! there HAS TO BE other goalies out there.

    LeClaire over Labarbera.
-the nhl is not the ahl...there are hockey graveyards full of those guys.
-LeClaire will play in a defensive HITCHCOCK system..liken it to Dallas. Col. will do better now and more wins and better goalie stats will result. Francis the freakin talkin mule could get shut-outs there. (Dallas)
-LeClaire is 3 yrs younger and played almost all his pro time in the nhl.
L.A. will almost certainly get a goalie for the #1 spot...Gerber is the rumoured player.
Bernier has caught Crow\'s eye..so..he\'s gonna be groomed. Labarbera gets b-up duty maybe till Bernier gets the call.

dude, labarbera spent last season in the ahl bc he would have had to pass through entry waivers if he had been called up. your simplistic explanation leaves a lot to be desired. cloutier didn\'t even make the cut for the kings. man.

go with denis, hes ready for a come back year. he\'ll likely play more than an of your other available players...but tahts if he has a come back year. hell, bernier is probably worth more than labarbra at this point.
