It\'s still preseason and things can change easily enough once the season starts. I am still holding out hope that he\'ll be the player that we saw in the World Championships.
Well, so much for Stempniak and his 75+pts this year???
Everything I see about the blues line-up has him lining up with Backes and McClement on the third line.
As I said \" OVERRATED! \"

I think Brad Boyes will take a little of his ice time. Maybe 65pts is more sure.
don\'t tell me you expect either weight, or tkachuk to play 82 games? stempniak will be okay...
DEFENCE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Stempy is well and truly good enough to be getting top 6 minutes, as well as being on the first PP unit. But St.Louis are hell bent on keeping the proven chemistry he has with McClement and Backes. The best case scenario for Stempy owners is that Murray doesn\'t like the chemistry being shown by one or both of the top 2 lines, breaks up \"McBackniak\" to utilise Stempy\'s obvious talents on a first or second line and he sticks. If that happens, well, 30+ goals easy I\'d imagine. Until then, well, decent minutes is about the best you\'ll get. Right now its what (Blues fans can confirm this, first 3 lines only):
Kariya-Tkachuk-Boyes
Cajanek-Weight-Rucinsky
Stempniak-McClement-Backes
My tip is that the first line looks fine, but Stempniak might get himself onto Weight\'s wing. Plus there\'s of course the health factor of some of those blokes above him too. It\'s not all lost Stempy owners. You are sitting on gold.
