Don\'t do it. Heatley will pick it up. Savard is doing well but Heatley should get back to his normal pace soon. Big game in Philly the other night for him.
just received this offer
heatley seems a little down on numbers maybe shouldn\'t trade him now
might be down on the year
can savard have a career year?

Depends on how you like your 90 points, goals or assist wise?
Heatley will not score 100 points, even if he picks it up like he should. Savard should be good for 90 because of his own skill, as well as the offensive depth in Boston. Any other year and i\'d say Heatley without a doubt. This year, I think they\'re even.
Noooooo! Don\'t do that. Come along H2H playoff time and you will certainly understand why.
thanks for the advice
thinking about a counter offer
of vanek for lecavalier as it is similar to his by low on heatley offer
or
counter with vanek and budaj for price

I think it\'s pretty even too considering they\'ll likely be similiar in point production and Savard is on a much better team... look at his +/- compared to Heatley (+21) vs (+2). I think I\'d base my decision on whether I need goals or assists for my team and what position I need most.
I have Savard and was thinking of offering him for Heatley; in my case I have 4 centers and two left wings (one is Andrew Ladd) so I think it\'d be worth it to me to get Heatley over Savard, so I guess the answer is-- it depends.

Savard is so underrated sometimes, It\'s disgusting. Some of these other people(Shoeless, Playmaker) think that Ottawa has a switch like Joe Thornton and will just turn it on and go nuts during the 2nd half. I dont necessarily know or think thats gonna be the case this year. They suck offensively.
Adamr2na: With 4 centers, I can see why you would make this move. I would too in that scenario. Their is always a chance that he could start producing at a high level. But, Sometimes you just gotta recognize a down year and act accordingly.
My biggest gripe is that I dont think Savard is getting enough credit because of the name Heatley.
As far as Fantasy value is concerned, dare I say that Savard is a top ten choice? He leads my team in: assists, points, +/-, PIM, and wins a decent amount of faceoffs too. He is pretty much the best player on my team, and I have a few decent ones (Jarome Iginla???). I think that it\'d be worth it in my case to get rid of Savard and take the gamble on Sundin, because apparently nobody in my league seems to think that Sundin is worth anything and same w/ Eric Staal.
So I agree that Savard is a little underrated but I don\'t think that Heatley is overrated. Heatley is definitely a top 5 left wing (in the NHL I mean) and though he may not put up 100+ points this year, I\'m pretty sure he\'s going to put up AT LEAST 85.
Considering the team of the original poster, I would stick with Heatley but only because he already has more depth at center than at left wing, Hartnell and Erikkson are likely to cool off and who knows what Kariya will do when he gets back? In any other case, I\'d strongly consider giving up Heatley to get Savard-- especially in one-year leagues.

I never said Heatley was overrated. However, he doesnt share the same value this season that he did in years past for a bunch of reasons.

Also, if you have guys like Staal & Sundin on the wire, im sure you wont miss Savard too much.
this is kind of a wash
goals to assists as was said
gotta agree with savard being top ten as well
heatley will go on runs even in ottawa
he will win weeks for me i think
i think it comes down to the points run
will heatley get more goals and points than
savard assists and points
i think goals are more scarce than assists down the road
