    I recently completed the ff transaction

    Traded: Savard, Hossa, Weber
    For: Zetterberg, St. Louis, Boyle

    Who got the better deal to date and for the future?

    cant say i really favour that deal for you. hossa/savard are in their prime, 100 point seasons are in the cards for these guys, and weber is just hitting his stride.

    zetterberg is always gonna have that bandaid status, hes hundred pointer for sure, but so are the two you traded and they come without the risk. st louis is on the downward spiral, hes gonna be only worth 70 points sometime soon, maybe even this year, boyle is a stud, i cant argue that hes not, but how much better is he than weber?

    Yeah, I agree. I dont understand the motivation for you to make this deal? Savard is pretty consistent. You can take 90 points to the bank, with always a chance for 100. Hossa is also a very consistent player, apart from last year that is. Weber has turned into a fantasy monster.

    The guys you are getting back are not as good as the ones you are trading away. I think this is a bad move for you.
