If you can handle the +/- hit I would take the boyes deal too. getting two right wingers back should help your team more than one and a centre now that porter has been sent down.
H2H 12 team salary cap league. Real NHL salaries (75 mill max). Salary for this year in ( ).
stats: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPG, PPA, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW, W
Trade offer 1:
I get - Ju.Williams (3.5), J.Staal (.85)
I give - Little (.85), Wolski (2.5)
Trade offer 2:
I get - Boyes (2.5), Wheeler* (.875)
I give - Little (.85), Pacioretty(prospect team)
*I would send Porter down to as he is on my roster still
My current taem:
C - Backstrom, Jokinen, B.Richards, Weiss, Little
LW - Sedin, Marleau*, Sharp, Wolski
RW - Brown, Porter, D\'Agostini
D - Phaunef, Hainsey*, Vlasic, Gilbert, Byfuglien, Kositenen
G - Thomas, Johnson*, Leighton
IR - Gaborik, Luongo, JJ
*IR replacements who I can keep if I want
I am leaning towards Boyes as I feel hes a bit safer than Williams. Thoughts!?

i like the boyes deal also, but i do think williams is going to have a great second half ( or hoping for it). boyes has turned into a pretty consistant scorer.... but his +/- can be down right scary.
i cannot remember if staals salary goes up next year or in two years.

J.Staal is a C/LW so I can move him to LW instead of C but he would be behind Sedin, Sharp, Marleau. His salary ends this year so he should either be in line for a huge long-term salary (4-5 mill) or he may move to another team?
Its a H2H league so +/- isnt that much of a worry.
I also agree Ju Williams should be solid when he returns, he just needs a few more games to get into the groove.

joos, you gotta for the boyes trade. I like Justin Williams and all, but who\'s to say he doesnt go down for the rest of the year next week? He could get sneezed on and be hurt again. Plus the salary for both is lower than the williams/staal side. Also in the 2nd trade you are adding 2 RWs, which is your biggest weakness.

I agree, Ju.Williams has gone through some tough few season recently.
I guess the allure of J.Staal and me wanting to get rid of Wolski intrigues me.

I think you are spot on with your analysis of the 1st trade. I think Wolski is nothing more than a 50 point guy. The issue is that Williams is a huge injury risk and Staal will see a sizable jump in salary next year.
Boyes sees a sizable jump next year (5.0 mil before slowly moving down to 4.0 at the end of the contract in 11/12). I think his production is worth this expense. Wheeler has been solid and is still cheap for the next couple of seasons. Wheeler and Boyes will essentially equal each other out on +/- anyways. I would make the 2nd trade myself.

thanks guys!
enapai - your analysis of Boyes\'s salary is spot on. His salary is a tad high next year but like you said, his production is pretty good and should just get better as the young guys (Berglund, Oshie, EJ etc) get some more experience etc.

i agree with taking the boyes/wheeler trade. your rw with brown who is finnally breaing out will be very solid and imporve your team 10 fold. wheeler has slowed down a bit latley but he has alot of talent and should pick it back up again very soon.
if you like the staal side, maybe offer up wolski for staal straight up. maybe not the best trade but cant hurt to try.
