Cherry, Makarov and Aliu...the rest don\'t really interest me
I need to protect 4 from the following 8 players on my farm team
(strictly points keeper league)
No peaking at Dobber\'s Rankings
Akim Aliu
Michael Blunden
Evan Brophey
Alexei Cherepanov (acquired in a trade)
Niklas Hjalmarsson
Petri Kontiola
Igor Makarov
Billy Sweatt

The Best Fantasy Hockey Site
15-Team Keeper, points only, best 12 fwd, 4 dman, 2 G count. Playoffs count.
F - T. Thompson, Thomas, Nylander, Tarasenko, Arvidsson, Guentzel, Fiala, Quinn, Mittelstadt, Hagel, Zacha, Roslovic, Berggren, Brink, Ostlund
G - Kahkonen, Vejmelka, L. Thompson, Levi, Comrie
D - Hronek, Morrissey, Lundkvist, Girard, Brannstrom, Rathbone, Hanifin, Severson, Durzi
I\'ll throw in Sweatt as the fourth one. His speed is insane and he\'s got good hockey sense.
GO WINGS!

4 names mentioned are who i like..Blunden could turn out better but its a very small chance.
Cherepanov- Doesn\'t have elite upside, but 25-35 goals still pretty valuable.
Aliu- Very raw, very slow, but has the physical package and hands to be an elite power winger.
Makarov- Great shooting arsenal, great hockey sense, great maturity.
Sweatt- I called him the most NHL-ready player in the Prospect Report. That sounds sort of crazy, but when I think of ready, I think of a guy who you can put out there without any babysitting. Sweatt may not be an 80-point guy in his first year, but he can play on any line and not hurt you, and he can play the PK to perfection. He\'ll have fantasy value due to the SHGs and +/- he could rack up, in addition to 60-65 points at peak. Again, sounds nuts, but he has all the pieces to have a Jordan Staal-esque debut... when he puts on additional muscle.

I could have sworn that Aliu won the fastest skater award in an OHL Prospects competition. That being said, I\'ve watched him a few times and thought his skating is sub-par... and I can\'t believe people praise him for it.
I did notice that you named Sweatt the most NHL-ready prospect of last year\'s draft. Do you think he\'ll play in the NHL next year?
I\'m grateful for your input!

Ali DID get the fastest skater award at the 2007 CHL Skills Competition. I\'ve not watched him play though so I can\'t say how it translates on the ice. Sounds like not very well.
