Paul Stastny just hit 18-straight games

Amazing. I think this guy could get 80-90 points next year, depending on how well Hejduk starts the year.
I called him as a good prospect in training camp, for those of you who are long-time readers, but I didn\'t see anything even remotely close to this.

This is just amazing. Every game now, I look at the box scores to see if his streak has been snapped. Every game it seems like he adds 2 more points to his total. I think even if he loses the points race to malkin for rookie scoring that he\'ll get MAJOR consideration for rookie of the year.

Stasny has exceeded everyones expectations by far. He is unbelievable. COL\'s scouts should get big raises..

I picked him up early to use as trade bait near our deadline in a keeper league. I thought as most college kids he would hit a wall the last half because he\'s not used to playing so many games. I got E. Staal for him and a first rounder. That was about 18 games ago. Doh!

Man, the way he was going even early in the season, I would\'ve held onto him through the end of the year... I suppose staal and a 1st is ok, but considering that stastny might but up more points than eric in the coming years, you might\'ve gotten hosed by pulling the trigger too soon...

Was going with Dobber rankings. I still think Staal will be back over 90 points next year and was still well ahead of statsny when I made the deal. Plus I already had B.Richards and Bergeron. With only two centers starting it was tough to get Stas in. I guess now the fun will be watching Staal and Stas over the next few years to see how I made out. Ahhh...The beauty of a keeper league.B)

P.S. Oh I also got Mesjaros and Neil for the rest of this year. (I lose them after the season.) so it was Stastny and my 1st for Staal Mesjaros & Neil. Mes has already helped me during my playoff run bec. my d was hurting.

You get a good enough return from the 1st round pick and it may have been worth it.

Wait, Stastney and YOUR first? Never mind then. I thought it was the opposite, though I guess nobody would have likely offered more than Staal before this streak.

Staal has more upside than Stastny...at least...I think. Geez, the way Stastny is going I may have to re-evaluate!
No, seriously, I don\'t think Stastny will ever be above 90 points as a player (that number keeps rising, you\'ll notice), but Staal is going to be a bonafide 110 point player in a couple of years.

All the players in my keeper pool are pulling their hair out for not picking Stastny. One player did pick him and he had no idea who Stastny was. He just heard someone talking about him just before his pick. I feel sorry for the guy who blabbed!
