Canes in 6. The Rangers were not tested enough against Washington and will start too slow.

Skinny might be onto something - four of the last five teams to sweep someone in the first round went on to lose in the second.

Oh my, you're still sitting on the fence here, but it looks like you might just fall off on the Canes side real soon ... (:

    They won it all....2021-22 Avs.

But here were the other four most recent examples:

2020-21 Avs (swept Blues in round one, lost to Knights in round two, and like the Rags this year the Avs had won the President's Trophy)
2020-21 Jets (swept Oilers in round one, got swept by Habs in round two)
2018-19 Blue Jackets (swept Lightning in round one, lost to Bruins in round two)
2018-19 Islanders (swept Pens in round one, got swept by Canes in round two)

Note that I'm not counting the 2019-20 Canes, as their sweep in round one was only three games, not four.

That's embarrassing when you lose to a team from the other conference before the final. Edit: holy crap, the covid year was crazier than I remembered, I think I've tried to block it out...

When you forget things and then wonder why the Habs were playing the Lightning in the Finals. :S

Canes appear to be deep at every position. Canes in 6. However I wouldn’t be surprised to see Shesterkin win it for the Rangers. Gonna stick with Carolina’s depth and a 6 game series win.
