Center taking lots of faceoffs, around 36 years old, and often listed as a winger.

I mentally eliminated him because I didn't think this would surprise you!

(It surprises me... because he's 36 years old. But I suppose it shouldn't... as a mature player will get on/off ice in short smart shifts.)

Jesper Bratt? I think I remember he had 73 points last year since I didn't draft him when I should have. No idea if he played 82 games though, or how old he is. I can't retain many facts it seems, haha.

2022-23 Claude Giroux 2176 (2nd was JT Compher COL)
2021-22 Tomas Hertl 2079 (2nd was Elias Lindholm CGY)
2020-21 Elias Lindholm 1430 (2nd was Bo Horvat VAN)
2019-20 Connor Brown 1922 (2nd was JG Pageau OTT/NYI)... maybe OTT riding their players is just... a thing *This was DJ Smith's first season as coach with Ottawa.
2018-19 Tyler Seguin 2278 (2nd was Barkov & Horvat)
2017-18 Tyler Seguin 2370 (2nd was teammate Jamie Benn 2367, linemates)
2016-17 Ryan Kesler 2258 ANA (2nd was Blake Wheeler with WPG)


So... mostly Western Conf centers and... OTT players!!!
(I'm assuming Ottawa fans might notice that their coach... maybe, mostly DJ Smith [pre-firing]... loved to get certain players out there quick & often...)


While with PHI, Claude Giroux did have season shift totals of 2138, 2134, 2124, 2074, 2065... ranking in the 6th-10th most spots for their forwards since 07-08.
Carter, Couts, and Mike Richards also appear in their top 13 seasons.
