Really solid player, but in time I think he won't be as highly regarded as he deserves because he never came close to replicating his best season, plus due to being a cap buyout poster boy.

I was just mentioning yesterday that Parise, Suter, E.Staal, J.Carter, Fleury - same draft.
Sad to see these guys go. What a class. Parise was a fave player of mine for a few years.
One of those guys I'd like to see hoist a cup.
Perhaps too foot-slow for playoffs with COL... but maybe he'll Ray Bourque himself a Cup raise.
Wonder how his career might have been different if he went to Pittsburgh instead of Minnesota. Awesome career though. He was great to own in those high scoring Devils years.
