    Great career.

Wish he would have won a Cup in Philly instead of LA.

But I was always a Carter fan (even secretly when he was in Pittsburgh)

Kind of sputtered in later years, but still an impressive body of work. I hadn't realized he had more goals than assists, and forgotten he'd won Olympic gold.

Always nice to watch a player's final game farewell to fellow players.
I happened to catch this one... which was @ NYI - class move by so many Isles waiting to shake his hand.
His family was there and was permitted down by tunnel/bench. Just a really nice scene.
So many games. I remember his days on Team Canada juniors... wow - the years fly by.

Definitely was the whipping boy of a frustrated Penguins fanbase the last couple years, but great career. Awesome to see him get one in his final game last night.

I liked Jeff Carter earlier on in his career, but to be perfectly honest, I think he was pretty much a bum the last 6 to 7 years of his career. I was traveling and in Tampa about five years ago and went to see the bolts play against the Kings, and he was by far the laziest player on the ice – completely uninterested.

At the end there, he reminded me a lot about the player I probably despise the most for similar reasons… Petr Nedved.

Anyway, kudos nonetheless for a good career overall and good contributions to Team Canada.
