I dont think Georgiev can stop the puck enough and like Florida, Winnipeg is also one of the best 5v5 teams in the regular season. I think Colorado is primed to be upset in the 1st round.

Avs in 7. They've had a tough time with the Jets this year and that goaltending has me a bit worried. Still, I think they survive and advance.

The Avs made too many moves at the trade deadline for my liking. That stuff doesn't usually pay off come playoff time. Too much messing with team chemistry.
The Jets have their number this year, and while that doesn't always matter come playoff time, it's a factor here.
Helly over Georgiev. That's another huge factor here. Jets in 6. They win the final game on the road.

I hate that these teams meet in the first round, I would've loved this meeting in the conference finals. I'll go Avs in 6 because Mackinnon/Makar but the Jets are deep and solid and have a HUGE edge in goal, I'm not confident in this at all.

Georgiev must have played that game drunk or something, he couldn't come up with an important save when needed. Just 1 save. Helly must have asked him for stuff after the 2nd period because he wasn't much better. Crazy first game.

You have to imagine Hellebuyck won't let in 6 again. I know he's had some blow up spots this year but that felt like the Avs needed Game 1.

With him it’s how he starts the first 10 minutes. Usually you can tell if he’s going to be dominant or if he struggles within that span. If Jets tighten it up a bit the Avs are in early trouble.

While a bit of an exaggeration, it's getting hard for me to remember the last time the Avs didn't give up 7 in a game. Ouch.
