The irony would be that Swayman plays so well that he makes Ullmark expendable and he ends up in Toronto, although Ullmark does not strike me as the type of goalie who would fare well amidst all this pressure and second guessing. But if not him, then who? Saros? Markstrom? I actually wondered if they were going to make a play for MAF had he became a UFA, but as Austin Powers would say, alas that train has sailed....

Logan Thompson might end up being available our of Vegas. But Askarov, Levi, Knight, Dostal, Gibson, Gustavsson, Georgiev are all other options that depending on the team might look to make available (the first 2 are pipedreams).

But I'm done with Sammy. I respect his battle this yr mentally, but omg he wasn't blamed for his pretty sub-par stretch in March/April where he had a 2.90GAA/905s%. If you include February, he had 2.94GAA/899s%

I agree. If Calgary doesn't lower their price on Markstrom, I can't see him being moved. Plus, I know the stats looked good for him this season but I just never have confidence in that guy. Personally, I'd look for someone like Kahkonen or Nedeljkovic to pair with Woll and go cheap on goalie hoping that one of those guys break out. You can always trade for someone during the season.
