    Default Who are my keepers?

    Hi all,

Setting in signature. We can keep 10 players + 2 extra that have less than 150g. Luke Hughes qualifies as an extra.

Otherwise here are my sure keepers (9):
    Marner
    Robertson
    Barkov
    Bratt
    Barzal
    Thompson
    Hamilton
    Seider
    Hellebuyck

Now for the last spot, I can keep either McTavish or Toews. Also available with via a trade: Matheson or Stamkos or Nishuskin.

I am leaning on Toews actually. Am I right?

    Which way should I go?

    Thanks
10 team, points only, no cap, Bonus : PPG, SHG, HT, Shoot Out
    Top 9F, 4D, 1G . Keep 10 + 2 extras 150g or less, Max 22 (12F, 6D, 2G + 2 extras)

I would keep McTavish. Younger with great potential.

    McDavid/Necas/ Kucherov/Bjorkstrand/Rust/Nugent Hopkins/Cirelli/Zegras/- Letang/Morrissey/Dahlin - Swayman/Saros/Skinner

    Prospects include:
    McTavish/Clarke/Bordeleau
    Dumais/Korchinski/Hutson

Don't worry I'm not going to say anything more than I have to. If that.

I'd keep McTavish over Toews in that format. Or, would trade for Stamkos and keep him over McTavish. If Nishuskin could be acquired, he could be your second +2 under 150gp.

I know he is still young but McTavish seems a bit injury prone no? At least this year.

Personally I'm not worried about that with him. Not saying he won't be injury-prone going forward, but one injury-plagued season may be an outlier. It is way too soon to say one way or the other. Also, from my perspective, being only 21 years old and in only his second season in the NHL, there may be things McTavish has to figure out to avoid injuries going forward (better diet and training, how to avoid hits better, etc.), not to mention that he will only get naturally stronger with age.
