Svechnikov - when is it time to cut him?

I know he's still on PP1 but it's clear the move away from Aho (due to Guentzel) has clearly affected his production. Or is this just another one of his cold streaks and he'll turn it on again?

I think he's clearly bumped for Guentzel right now. His TOI is down to 16:44 since Guentzel was acquired (Jakes at 17:43). He's also on a line with Staal who is used in a pure defensive role, and it'll only lean heavier that way the closer the playoffs get.

Svech is still coming back from his knee injury, so I don't think you cut bait on him forever, but this yr (final 8ish games) he's likely not going to be put in favourable situations for fantasy purposes.

you drop him and he will pop off. Plays heavy schedule in back half of this week, not gonna find a more talented option on the wire most often.
