Sure we can adjust for age but my point was that there a bigger comparison between the two from their KHL time other than both being 6'7" in height.

When it comes to goalies, he could easily be the next Sorokin in the NHL or the next Koskinen. We don't know.

I still say Philly needs to let him adjust to the pro game in the AHL before throwing him to the wolves. That's the way the Rangers, Islanders and Lightning did it with their Russian studs coming out of the KHL.

If you want to fixate on size, Ben Bishop is a far better comparison for example than Mikko Koskinen is. Of course nobody knows how Fedotov will turn out, but comparing him to other Russian goalies just because is lazy and incorrect.

Lmao he brought up Koskinen and Sorokin unprompted before you said anything about Russian goalies. It’s almost like….well, it doesn’t need to be explicitly stated.
