Default What to do about Jarry?

So this is about the dynasty team in the sig.

About to start the playoffs next week and I'm in win now mode.

Jarry and the Penguins as a whole have been terrible the last month. Since 2 of the goalie categories are averages, I'm having a real hard time trusting him. Since they traded Guentzel, I'm also not so confident about the direction of the Penguins team.

My other goalie is Saros so I have a workhorse who I can trust. I also have Levi but he's been in the AHL the past few months.

FA goalies include Logan Thompson, Sam Ersson, Sam Montembeault, Jake Allen, Alex Lyon, David Rittich.

Would you consider dropping Jarry for any of these goalies?

Although anything can happen in the playoffs, I'm having a very hard time seeing your roster emerging as the winning team in a ten team league. Sorry - I hope I'm wrong.

So while that in a sense might make the answer to your question moot, if you still want to go all in, LA has a terrible schedule, but then a very good one. New Jersey has a decent one, then not so good. I'd probably branch away from Jarry by grabbing Allen now then hoping you can grab Rittich in a week if you're still in it.

With the injury to Hill it's possible Thompson could be a better option than Jarry. Lots of unknows there, so who knows, but it's worth looking into. I have to agree with Rick though, with the team you have I'm not sure a slight goalie tweak is really going to make a difference.

I came here to suggest Thompson because of Hill’s injury too. If Hill comes back sooner, Allen is probably the guy I’m going with next.
