Better Prospect Keeper: Perfetti or L Hughes?
A GM in my league just dropped Luke Hughes. I’ve been holding Perfetti as my prospect keeper, who I’d have to activate to my main roster early next season when he hits 164 games played. Luke Hughes can stay in my prospect keeper spot for up to two more seasons since he’s played fewer games. As a Devils fan, I’d love to grab Hughes. If he has the same pedigree as his brothers, he’s a few years away from becoming a mainstay on my roster. Seems like now is the best opportunity to get him for essentially nothing. I’m also unsure if Perfetti really has the opportunity to make a jump to meaningful impact next year. Unless that was more of a sure thing, I’m thinking I buy in on Luke now and hopefully reap the rewards in the future. Do you agree?

I'll be honest, I'm nervous about Perfetti in Winnipeg with Bowness there as the coach. We're already seeing healthy scratches and he's getting dropped down the lineup because Bowness prefers his veteran guys.
I'd also make this swap but it has nothing to do with how long you can stash Hughes. He won't be in that slot that long.

Being a Devils fan, this is a no-brainer. You see that skating and the upside. It might take a little longer than Perfetti especially since Hamilton will be back next season and I hope he is PP1QB but 2-3 years from now I think he'll be a top-10 dman especially considering hits are not in your points.
