I don't know that I'd use him over any of your current forwards. He's being given decent deployment at the moment. But really, all he is now is someone who is good at passing. You're not going to get much of anything else from him other than the assists he might get in passing to Necas or others on 2nd power play. Although he somehow got 5 hits last night. I don't see him being clearly better than anyone else you have on the major league roster.

If you have an open spot then add him. Simple as that. I'm not sure what the potential downside might be here, limited FA's??? ... I dunno, but I can't help but think this is a low-risk high reward pick up, it's absolutely worth taking a shot.
