Should Markstrom be started against the Avs?

Depends if you need a start, good stats, or just shots saved?

His play has not been good the last few games and going against elite offense so probably not but again depends what you need and don’t need.

I don't need the start. Or the saves really. Just sucks to sit a goalie because the team traded his whole defense corps. But he probably doesn't have much of a chance does he?

I have both LA goalies and Merzilikins. Got top seed in my league but all my other goalies have fallen to the wayside. I guess I might need the saved. Would need the starts

I guess my question is really whether Markstrom is just garbage now because of the trades they've made

No, he's not garbage now. But you should pick and choose when to start him. Facing the Avs does not really thrust any goalie onto the "must start" list.
