Non-scoring peripherals likely will be comparable, so it probably will come down to points. Stutzle has a "bird in hand" edge; and although it seems like he's taken a step back, he's been snakebit in terms of his SH% and on the PP. With Fantilli, there's always the possibility he doesn't live up to expectations, although early returns are promising. With Stutzle, there's also a good chance he gets winger eligibility, which, although you don't have FOW as a category, still gives you roster flexibility.

Given all this, I think I'm saying Stutzle. Or ask yourself this - if you owned Stutzle, would you trade him for Fantilli straight up? I don't think many - myself included - would do so, which says a lot.

Stutzle for the next 2 maybe 3 years and then perhaps it's close. Or not, we'll see. Until Fantilli scores at a ppg pace which won't be any time soon IMO, I'll take the guy who's already been there and done that. I like Fantilli but the kids 19 years old and Stutzle is now a grizzled veteran at the age of 22. Fantilli has some catching up to do. It will very likely happen, but it will take some time and as Rizzee points out, a bird in the hand.

Who can help you more in the next couple of seasons? Stutzle.

Who will have the better career? I think Fantilli may have more upside to his game, but it will take him a few seasons to see it.

I’d take Stutzle in a trade today as he’s the more ‘sure thing’ today. But to answer the question of who has a better career, I would take my chances on going against the grain and saying Fantilli will have the better career.

Give me Stutzle. imo they have similar upside and Stutzle has already put up a 90 point season and is only 22. I'm taking the known quantity in a 22 year old 80-90 point player with 100 point upside over a 19 year old who has to prove his potential still with 105 upside. Not worth the risk for a relatively small difference in reward.
