I like both players but the cap situation confounds me. They must be getting max retention; rumor is a third-party involved to achieve that.
I can't see any roster players they'd want to give up to fit in Carrick.

Thanks for this. You got those numbers with 75% retained for both players, I assume? I was too lazy to do the math.
I wanted a dman but Henrique is terrific in his role and I'm not as down on Nurse and Ceci as a lot of others.
Still, one more dmen in case of injury isn't a bad thing. I'm very curious to see who they get.

Nice add by EDM.
I figured it was going to either be EDM or COL getting Henrique.
When teams get to playoffs, it's nice to have that one two-way center (mostly defensive center) where you can say "Need you to keep So-n-So in check".
You don't want to do that to your offensive players... but it's nice for a team to know/feel that there's a guy ready for that.
EDM is a strong, strong team on the face-off dot now.
