Playoffs and trade deadline coming next week... I have Georgiev, Binnington and Kochetkov as my 3 active Gs. Word is Andersen could play next week. Does anyone know how Carolina will handle this mess? If I wait and they send Koch down, I can't drop him after the trade deadline because we have a no transaction rule unless injury related. AND whomever you drop, you can't ever pick him back up until after the season ends.

Do I try to move the Carolina Gs for any other #1 starter, or stand pat? I think thi sucks because Koch has been great and settled-in as a somewhat consistent goalie when no Carolina goalie could do that - including Andersen before the blood clot issue.

I don’t really like the STL/COL/CAR threesome. Of the 11 games STL and COL have and the 10 games CAR has during playoffs, your goalies all play 5 times on the same night.

- Colorado has already said Georgiev won’t play as much down the stretch.
- Carolina plays the least amount of games during playoffs of any team.

I think it would be too hard to sell the Carolina tandem, so keep that and:

- if you go with Carolina and STL by trading Georgiev, grab Demko or Skinner which would give you 10 starts with less than 3 scheduling conflicts.
- if you go with Carolina and COL by trading Binnington, grab Demko which gives you 10 starts. EDM and Skinner would only give you 9.

But with Georgiev getting known rest coming up, I hit up the Demko owner and see if I can give him Georgiev and a sweetener for him.

Georgiev and Harley (DAL doesn’t play much during playoffs either) for Demko. Do it.
