What’s Up with Hintz?

Is he just in a major slump, or is there something more concerning going on? The Dallas top line all seem to be down from where they were last year.

Very concerning - he doesn’t look like he’s playing hurt, but I wouldn’t be surprised given his history.

He’s so bad I’m considering benching him opening week if my playoffs - Jenner has 4 games to Hintz 2 (albeit it both versus SJ…)

I am an owner of Hintz, Robertson and Tage Thompson. Collectively, along with Carter Hart being one of my goalies, they have sunk my season. Thought I had a shot at winning. I think its jsut a bad year for those players.

A couple of years ago, Hintz started the season with a similar lethargic stretch. He rebounded and has been a consistent 75 points player since then. I'm willing to stay patient and I think there's a solid rebound coming up for him. The entire Dallas team has had a tough time. They'll snap out of it, too much talent not to happen.

Agree - but would you bench him in favor of Jenner for week 1 of playoffs? Jenner 4 games, Hintz 2 but both versus SJ. My other Cs are Tavares with 4 (another slumping star) and Larkin with only 2.

I wouldn't, Hintz can get 4-5 points against SJ, CBJ is playing pretty good team next week which will limit Jenner's production

I’ve been hoping this is prophetic. Sure enough Roope starting to heat up. 3-pointer last night and 6 in his last 4. That after an abysmal 14-game stretch where he put up 4 measly points. Couldn’t come at a better time - playoffs! Keep it up Roope.
