Another GM has been after Tkachuk all year and has offered me
Stutzle + Trouba + 3rd for my B.Tkachuk
Im currently in 1st and going for the win, but Brady was going to be one of my 3 keepers. The pick is nice for next year as I’ve traded away some over the course of the season, but is this deal worth losing him? My 3rd would then be between Stutzle, Dobson, Shesterkin/Demko. Any advice on whether I should stand pat or make the move would be great and team is in sig.

That's my view. As noted elsewhere, without PIM, Brady T is not as dominant, but still, if I'm going to deal Tkachuk (and I'm not), the return I get is going to be so good and overwhelming that I wouldn't ask anyone. Please do bring questions to the forum, but I'm not dealing Tkachuk to gain a small advantage. Go for the win, then worry about next year later. This deal should still be available in the offseason if you really wanted it. No need to make it today.Originally Posted by LuigiC173

The pieces he's offering aren't bad pieces, but it's like quantity for quality as the two pieces he's offering are neither keeper material for you. If you're losing a keeper, you need to get one back so that means it has to be an upgrade to Miller/Pastrnak/Tkachuck. That's usually my philosophy on limited keepers like this, especially if you are contending.

he’s also offered Svechnikov Trouba and a 2nd for Pasta. I’m leaning toward holding Pasta as well as it seems like I’m giving up the best player in a limited keeper
