I'd switch out Elly and put in Pablo Lopez. Elly's got too much risk for me. I don't trust that he won't hit under .230. I think that if you are buying Elly at cost (around pick 25 or so), you're paying for the presumption that he obtained some plate discipline over the winter, and I'm not ready to make that assumption. At 6'5", his strike zone is huge and I think he's the kind of guy who has gotten by on sheer athleticism as opposed to skill. 3 strikeouts for every walk. Meanwhile, I think Pablo Lopez is rock solid and going for about the same price. Lopez is much older, but if you're playing for nearer-term results, I'd lean him and try to see if anyone in your league is the engineer on the Elly hype train.

I agree with this. You're stacked on offense and Pablo took an elite step last season.

My team has gone to the finals 2 years in a row and failed 2 yrs in a row lol.

Thanks guys, there's def the ability to trade players in the offseason, but I wanted to know who I should be considering possible keepers and guys I can move for picks without too much worry (Bellinger, Abrams, Machado, McLain)

Looks like another piece of bad advice. Monetary refund incoming. I didn't think Elly would gain plate discipline. He started out really bad in that way, striking out half the time. But the past couple weeks have been acceptable, down to a strikeout a game, more or less. That's progress.

The guys I went with were:
    Bobby Witt Jr. (SS)
    Julio Rodriguez (OF)
    Yordan Alvarez (OF)
    Bryce Harper (1B)
    Michael Harris II (OF)
    Elly De La Cruz (3B,SS)
    Corbin Burnes (SP)

I actually ended up getting Logan Webb with my 1st pick too.

Pablo Lopez tho...not looking so good so far lol.
