It'll be Thompson's first game in 3 weeks... if he gets the nod.
I know TOR has been "scoring" lately - but STL has enough firepower to get thru that patchwork TOR defense.
Can't say I trust Samsonov yet.

For both/all teams doing it... holiday weekday "day" games are tough go-s.
I'd be curious if anybody has patched together stats on games vs. spread on these sort of days.
I feel like both STL & SJ could pull "upsets" - just being more "comfy" in their home digs.

-270 VGK (over SJ)
-155 TOR (over STL)

So... really not close/debatable.
Go with Vegas.

I'd choose Thompson of the two. San Jose is far and away the worst team in the league. If he/Vegas falter against them, so be it. But you probably won't find better odds of getting a quality start.
