Does the MacDavid owner have a legit chance at winning your league with his current roster?

The poll needs more options.
As an example, the McD owner in my 14-keeper is not a “McDavid is all he has” scenario. He has Matthews and Matt Tkachuk! He also had good pieces in Tippett, Buchnevich, Rossi. But he’s also far from a league winner - his D is really weak, and his G is ok with Markstrom and for future with Wolf but not enough to overcome other gaps. In fact this year he’s in a 4-way battle for last place and the Celebrini sweepstakes.

I can speak for myself, who is a McDavid owner in a 24 team, salary cap, H2H dynasty league. I am currently in 8th place and I would say the chances of me winning my league this year are slim. I also own Shesterkin in that league, but that hasn't been a great help, unlike previous seasons.

Our league was a 12 team and became a 10 team this season.
4 GM’s have owned McDavid. I doubt the current McDavid owner wins the Championship this year.
I obtained McDavid a few years ago when he was injured. Cost me Kucherov & MacKinnon for McDavid and Marchand.
Closest I cam to winning was last season after I traded McDavid for MacKinnon, B.Tkachuk, Sorokin.
McDavid was traded again this season for M.Tkachuk, Kaprizov, Shesterkin.

I have McDavid in both of my leagues.
18 teamer - I am 4th place with one of the best chances to win (threepeat!)
12 teamer - barely holding onto a playoff spot (6th), but if I get in all bets are off.

I started the other thread more as a joke than any other reason. But this poll is interesting.
I think it's obvious that McDavid doesn't make a difference if he's part of a poorly managed / rebuilding / unlucky fantasy team. However, he can transform an average team into a good one, and a good one into a contender just by his sheer dominance. No matter what the format is, he can have the impact of two (or three) players combined on any given night.
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

I won last year with him. This year I am in second place a little bit behind first place. Goaltending is my undoing this season.
In my other league, another gm has him. He won last year, but wont win this year as he sold enough picks to secure the win last year
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
