Morgan Rielly Suspension

What does everyone think the suspension will be for Morgan Rielly? I am hoping they give him10 games for that ridiculous cheap shot. This is the kinda crap that is not necessary in the sport.

It won't be double digits. They have to send a message, but it wasn't double digits terrible. I'd say minimum of five, max of eight.

I don’t think there is team in NHL that would not respon to that shot by Grieg….as a rookie he better smarts up or he will get his head smashed in more than once..

but MR has to control his emotions there I’ll say he gets minimum for in person hearing

Agreed. I mean, how fragile are you? He's pumped up and pissed off by a previous no-call, and he shot the puck hard into the net. Let it go already. Or go over and give him a shove while shit-talking him a bit. To cross check him in the face, is excessive.

A lot of Leafs fans have been suggesting that any suspension MR gets, will be worth it. Toronto is fighting for their playoffs. Wouldn't it be interesting if the Leafs missed the playoffs by 1 or 2 points? This kind of suspension could mean the difference between the Leafs making and missing the playoffs. I am guessing that it wouldn't be "worth it" then?

lol i did not hear that...im a leaf fan but it was dumb move and whoever is suggesting otherwise needs to sobber up:P I do think Grieg wont do this again but this only hurts the leafs....he is only offensive D on that team.
