Default Move Theodore for any of these centers?

I’m currently in 1st and looking to make a run for the title. The other GM just proposed a trade of my Theodore for his Hintz. While I need a center, I don’t think it’s enough for Theodore. He also has Point, Aho, and Petterson. I’d love to get Petterson, but I don’t think he’d go for a 1:1 for Theodore. Is it worth countering for either Aho or Point? D are very valuable in my league, so maybe I just stand pat.

Hintz for Theodore is quite a nice return IMO. You're not getting the Alien 1 for 1 unless they're stupid.

i would take it and run, i dont think you get more than Hintz...Theodore's value is unfortunately less then his production indicates, similar to Morgan Reilly. Im not exactly why that is but i see that across the board with both of them. To me they are both better to keep on your team than trade 9 out of 10 times. But Hintz is as close as you can come, if you need C i think tis fair deal.

I definitely need a C. Right now I’m banking on Malkin not getting hurt, Hughes not getting hurt again, Norris who’s underperforming, and Seguin who is a shell of his former self.

Before injury, Theodore was putting up the same fantasy points per game average as Petterson. Which also is about 25% higher than Hintz, Aho, and Point. That’s why I have been hesitant to pull the trigger. But if we go back just one season, Theodore’s historical production is closer in line to Hintz, Aho, and Point.

I guess there’s also the fact that it’s no guarantee Theodore comes back and produces as he did to start the year and he’s still ~3 weeks away from returning. So maybe I’m talking myself into this.

I have to agree that Hintz is indeed a fair return for Theodore. Given your concerns stated above, and BTW, Norris is band aid boy too as well as under performing, so, Hintz seems like some pretty nice insurance if you ask me.

Thanks all. Done deal. Will rep when I can. Any thoughts on who is my drop to activate Necas? Seems like either Seguin or Norris. I know people will probably say Krug or Roy, but you have to carry 5 D in our league to maximize starts.
