My Chabot for Sergachev + 3rd rd pick
GM of the first-place team in my league is offering me his injured Sergachev and a 3rd round pick (likely early 3rd round) for my Chabot. I'm 9th and won't win this year, so I don't mind acquiring an injured player for Chabot + a pick to reload for next year. I used to be high on Chabot, but he has become a band-aid boy and he has Sanderson in front of him. Not really high on Sergey either, but maybe a little bit more? I don't know! Thoughts?

I've been evaluating Chabot for a bit as well trying to get a sense of his true value in my league, name aside. Long story short, I would not hesitate to trade him straight across for Sergachev. Getting a 3rd rounder in addition, plus your team being out of contention this season, makes it a complete no-brainer for me.

Nah I think he is very unlikely to be back for fantasy playoffs… maybe NHL playoff but I doubt it…this is a move for future… if you are in contention you don’t do this unless you got another decent option to replace chabot

Tub Fib fracture requiring surgery recovery timeline is generally 3 to 6 months. Rehab beginning around the 3 month mark. Sergachev should be good to go by training camp.
