I saw it by NickFoley, Illinois based writer. Plus Toronto/Blues rumours around Parayko seem like an annual thing lol. Unrelated but the Leafs are also putting Lagesson on waivers at 2pm to create more space for the deadline.

Lagesson is presumably getting waived to make room for Edmundson.

Hard to believe that the Leafs could afford to take on both Parayko and Buchnevich even with max retention by St. Louis and a third party.

I doubt the Parayko/Buch happens, but I'd assume it would be built roughly around (without prospects/picks to balance trade, this is just cap reasons):

I will say again, I don't think it'll happen, and I'm not saying Brodie+Lilj is what will get it done. But they have the ability if Brodie is involved. Also just saw EF said the Leafs like the player Parayko. Doesn't mean much tho.

Trade Centers should honestly start at 12pm at the earliest now. Let radio shows who have practice talking for hours about nothing cover 9-12pm, and then have the show start. They can recap deals made in the morning/overnight, and then break anything new.

Seravalli says its now "very likely" Toffoli is moved. So there's still a couple big names out there.

Toffoli and Guentzel should move, hopefully tomorrow for the show's sake. And maybe Buchnevich too, but that one doesn't seem like a lock.

Nothing sadly. They have a new GM and limited expiring deals (1 UFA), and the people who are expiring (Roslovic) or close to expiring (Kuraly, Provorov) aren't playing well enough for a contender to want. I see them just holding, unless Roslovic is dumped for nothing.
