That must have been when it was all being changed and it disappeared for a time. It's fine now. (unless I just jinxed it!)

Where I normally go to set up notifications (Edit Team Info) used to have it so you ticked the option to receive an email when someone posted on the message board. But there is no option about the League Chat. Now they're more obsessed with stupid head shots on your roster (at least I have a choice) than usable functionality.

I voted for later mainly because a week on Friday seems a bit soon. But like Axe said on the League Chat, hopefully it's not that slow a draft. We don't have a lot of buffer time and we start just before a weekend (which tends to slow things down).

I just thought it was a nice way to kick off a Friday. People always get it going early though.

The good news is that I don't think missing 2 games is going to affect where anyone takes the studs on LAD and SD.

Personally, I think you'd have a better start to the draft if it were to start on a Monday. People are around for the work week and looking for things to do in the evenings. Weekends are usually slower because people have stuff on the go. Im sure we will get picks in over the weekend but I wouldnt be surprised if it were a slower start than expected and pick up during the week.

Just my opinion.

Probably true. But I also don't think it's ever taken 13 days to draft. Maybe a deadline and a bit of pressure isn't the worst thing in the world.

I rather start Monday, but I understand the idea of starting Friday since March 8th is the deadline, I don't know if that's going to bog down the draft come March7/8th.

Works for me. I know my buddy Will doesnt check these often so if we lock in an official start date and time I will be sure he's aware and will be there to make his pick. It's actually good that his picks are B2B.

I'm away on vacation from the 11th to the 15th. I'll have periodic access to internet so can try and get my list together to not hold things up (first few rounds shouldn't be a big deal), but it will likely be very limited activity from me, probably until the Monday realistically.
