Sewald the latest pitcher to go. Drafted him in my main league on Sunday night.

Someone remind me to just take hitters until round 12 and then just figure out Pitchers.

Man I thought I waited a while for my RPs too. Round 13 for Sewald at least isn't too bad for a guy starting on the IL?

I tried to draft the best at their position as best I could. I didnt get the best hitter but I'd say I arguably got the 2nd best. I feel I got the best SP and I feel I got the best RP. Again, just my opinion. I know Diaz was ranked higher by many, but I had Hader ahead of Diaz.

I've never understood the MLB scheduling the Jays in Tampa really early in the season. You have 2 teams with domes and you make them play each other to start the season? Jays should be vs Yankees, TBR should be against the Orioles. Like what's the point of scheduling home games in Baltimore? Like Toronto's first 2 series are vs teams with Domes.

Should honestly have the Jays host the Yankees, then host the Orioles or something then start going on the road to at least help the season starting on time for everyone. I believe there's 7 "indoor" stadiums, so that's 14 possible teams 100% starting on time. And they have the domed stadiums unused to start the season because of reasons.

So here's the domed/indoor teams: Toronto, Houston, Seattle, Miami, Milwaukee, Arizona, Tampa
Here's the schedule for those teams:
Toronto @ Tampa
NYY @ HOU
Bos @ Seattle
Pitts @ Miami
Milwaukee @ NYMets
Col @ Arizona

Well it comes time to make my name announcement.
Spoiler Alert - It is not as creative as it usually is.
M players just didn't work into my name plan as well as I would have liked.

I usually pick a country song - any artists. But this year I focused solely on Toby Keith (RIP)

I just couldn't make any of my players fit into any of the names.
I have been binging his songs since his recent passing and I am not finding a line from a song that fits my players names either.

So listening to a great life lesson song - My List - talking about making the truly important things in life a priority and make them the top priorities on your list.

The Chorus:

So like I said - nothing super creative - just simply calling it - My List. The only baseball alignments are the line bolded above and that I used 'My List' to pick my team.

Now a little trip down memory lane.

I got to see Toby Keith on Canada Day 2019.
As you may or may not know - but he was a very patriotic man and had several songs that salute America.

Well when he came out for his encore song her had this guitar

He played two encore songs - Courtesy of the Red White and Blue and American Soldier.

Part way through American Soldier - he stopped playing his guitar and turned it around and started changing the words to be more Canadian.

It was just one of those concert moments that was so amazing and memorable.
And this picture with TK and the back of his American guitar will be my logo for the year.

Same. I own them both in my main league and it was annoying watching everyone else add people.

They did make the change on Devin though so hopefully NYM isn't far behind.
